WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
Please sign up to volunteer for our local commitees. We can't do this conference without YOU! We are specifically seeking 1. Chair of local hospitality: Get swag/freebies from local businesses for conference bags; recruit committee members to staff the hospitality table. Volunteers can be responsible students. 2. Technology/AV: Ensure each presentation room has the necessary AV equipment and recruit volunteers to help set equipment up in rooms and break it down. Note that you do not have to find the equipment. It will be provided. Some experience connecting computers to projectors VERY helpful. Volunteers can be students. 3. Presiders chair: maintain list of workshop and schedule of presiders for each workshop. Presiders introduce workshop presenters and ensure they have everything they need. For example, they might go find a member of the Tech/AV committee if needed. Presiders will be attendees at the conference who signed up for the workshop. 4. members for all committees listed above. Please note that presiders must be available to attend workshops on Thursday Feb. 26 and Friday Feb. 27. Please register to chair or be a member of a committee here |
