Fall Conference a huge success!

More than 20 area teachers joined us on September 20 at Bella Vista High School for "PowerPoint for Language Teachers: from the basics to the best". It was quite a whirlwind session starting with opening the program and ending with numerous ways to enhance PowerPoints with transitions, animations, audio, video and web links. Join us in the Spring for out Share-a-thon after the CLTA conference. And, every attendee received a 2GB flash drive on which to save their work!

State Fair Discover Languages event a huge success

After a full (very, very full) day at the State Fair on August 17, we can state unequivically that it was a great success. Families visited our booth to play games, talk about language learning, take the "Are you smarter than a language teacher" quiz and spin the wheel for Discover Languages merchandise. We even had a surprise visit from Julie Shok Tam, Miss Asia Sacramento 2008! Watch the slide show on the Discover Languages page!
